More and more NFL fans are turning to things like streaming NFL games online to get full access to their favorite teams playing the US’s most popular sport. No doubt with the rise of cord cutting, and the NFL getting more and more popular, we’ll see increasing demand for ways in which people can stream their favorite teams without cable subscriptions.
Hulu has launched a live streaming option, and while some NFL games will be available as they stream some of the major networks, things get a bit confusing, with blackouts, different markets, and more. Check out your local subscription broadcasts to determine whether or not Hulu will work for you.
Outside of that, there are a few great options for streaming the NFL online, which we’ll outline below:
Get access to Red Zone, NFL Network, and ESPN with Sling TV
One of the first “live streaming” cable alternatives, Sling TV, jumped on the scene in late 2015, and has been growing like crazy. It’s pretty nuts too, you can get full access to stream Red Zone, NFL Network, and ESPN all through their streaming options, without cable, and no crazy contracts to sign. We’ve got a seven day free trial you can check out here, totally risk-free, so if you’re looking to check out some NFL games this season, this is a great way to do it.
Another great option for cord cutters to stream NFL games online is DirecTV NOW
A bit newer to the game, but getting really popular, is DirecTV NOW. They’ll give you access to ABC, NBC and FOX, and they’re in talks with the NFL to get access to Red Zone and NFL Network. You’ll get access to ESPN and hundreds of other channels as well. Similar to Sling TV, they also offer a seven day free trial which you can check out here.
